I love riding Amtrak, it is just marvelous! However, I have found I am getting addicted to the historic and scenic trains! There are many in my home state of Arizona, but also a good number in Colorado and New Mexico. In this short eBook, about a 15 minute read, with lots of photos, I describe the Georgetown Loop Railroad, located 45 minutes west of Denver off I-70. I also include a little information about the history of this railroad and the nearby towns of Idaho Springs and Silver Plume. This would be a great experience for those who have not
done a historic train trip previously. Ride the train, it's fun!
